And back into shooting at the range after a very long time, in fact decades due to other hobbies taking up my time. I never had a permit back when they weren't required, to an FAC that lapsed back in the early 90s, and now an RPAL.
Rifles owned in the past: Cooey 39 (my dad bought at Towers), Remington Nylon 66 (sorry I sold it) that I bought at Canadian Tire.
Handguns owned in the past: Vostok.
Shotguns owned in the past: Winchester Defender.
All 22 cals (except the 12 ga) including my current CZ 457 MTR. Will only move to a centerfire (likely a 6.5 Creedmore) when I get damn good and consistent with my CZ 457 MTR at 100 yards (so far so good) and 200 yards (later this summer).
Back then I was into plinking. Now I am into precision shooting.
Warning: You do not want to discuss gun control with me that accomplishes absolutely nothing. I am a firm believer in the 2nd even though I am a born in Canada Canadian.
