For anyone who's wondering how to load fast from a $20 shell belt from Crappy Tire.
I've used a similar technique to this one.
About a billion times faster than a bag of loose shells.
That is pretty fast!
That's not bad. That's also not a $20 shell belt from CT; look closely and you will see that the shells are not retained the same way - I guarantee that same guy using the CT belt will take twice as long as what that video shows.
Here is a guy who has 12 loaded in the time it takes the belt guy to get his first 3 in.
Yeah, it's a different brand. But the same technique works just fine. I've done it. Plenty of others have too.
Grabbing two shells at a time is quite easy. Just don't push them way down into the loops.
You posted a video of the fastest shotgun loader/shooter in the entire world for comparison?
How is that relevant?
but why hobble yourself and give up before you even start with the "I'm not in it to be competitive" mind set..?
Why bother at all then if you have no intention of even trying.?
ITS A FREAKING $20 BELT ! $20 DOLLARS ! vs a $180 quad loader....
I'm just trying to prevent him from using a bag of loose shells for his first match...
If you decide you want to try out snowmobiling, are you going to go out and buy a $20 000 turboed hill climb rig right off the bat? ..
I use bladetech AR mag pouches. They are available as singles or doubles and you can adjust the tension on them easily. Select Shooting Supplies carries them as do others I'm sure.
