Gear Head Works SBR Bolt action

I don't think that there are any Canadian distributors, because the product itself doesn't really make sense for our laws. The SBR laws are null up here, because we can just build this setup without having to have specialized classification (unlike the SBR laws, NFA item laws, pistol loopholes, etc.) like our southern neighbors do.
If you are after this setup, then why not just buy the components separately and build it yourself (for probably cheaper)?
- R700 SA (pick up something on the EE)
- 7.5-14.5" barrel (pick your favourite barrel MFG)
- MDT LSS Gen2 Chassis (order direct)
- Gearhead Works Mod1/Mod2 Tailhook (probably Mod1 of you're looking to stay NR)
- AICS Magazine (pick whatever you want for the caliber you want)
- AR Pistol grip (sky's the limit)
This is just my thoughts on this. You'd probably be able to piece this all together for $1200-$2000 depending on your barrel and action price, versus the $1800-$2500 it would cost to import them from GHW.
