Gear to get started, IPSC Production division?

An alternative to help you manage fit is to buy an aftermarket holster "hanger". I'm a little skinny and the Bladetech DOH made my pistol grip stand too far off my body. I ended up buying a Ben Stoger BOSS hanger direct from Stoeger. Works great and looks very adaptable. I'd bet that the Fobus holster would fit fine if you could unscrew it from the paddle.

Nope fobus holsters do not attach to a boss hanger. The paddle is basically riveted in place. It's not like a bladetech or comptac set up for teklok.
 
Regardless of the gear that you get for getting started and especially for production division, learn how to manage the DA trigger pull and be able to hit stuff doing it.
