geese or and duck hunting fall 2022

seems this year there will no travel allowed but im thinking about it well ahead.

any hints, tips about where to go and with whom?

My guys from South Carolina and Mississippi have their vaccine passport and cant wait for our borders to open. We sure missed not getting together last year. We still got out here but only with a couple others. The fellowship is more fun than the shooting.

What are you planning to do? Self guide? Guided? Prairies? Ocean? Target species etc all helps narrow it down. No use telling you places to go for wood ducks if you want to kill snow geese.

well i cant tell exactly as i do not know but i d like i think the prairies experience for snow and regular geese as well as mallard. self guided i doubt i will be able to do it properly ... thank you.

If you have hunted geese and ducks before and have decoys you would probably still have quite a good time anywhere on the prairies though maybe not with quite the success rates of a guided trip. If you want to go guided I highly recommend Garret Tully at lucky lake Outfitters in Saskatchewan. Garret is a stand up guy with a great reputation that can put you on some awesome hunts. Talk to him about timing but if you do it right he can even get you on some cranes as well which is a whole different but awesome experience.
