on sale on brownells for $176, seems like a good deal, so I ordered one for my 9mm DDLEs build..
I was told It's a poor-mans SD3G :) anybody tried one?

They have been on sale for the last 2 months. Doesnt feel the same compare to my sd3g. The trigger break point is different, how it reset is also different.

To be honest. The basic design is the same, the ony diff is the trigger face ( flat vs curved). The flat trigger makes it feel lighter, less trave, faster resetl. I think its deisgn that way to differentiate

okay thanks!

Check Calgary Shooting Centre...I just received my Geissele SSA from them last week. They stock a few, so they may have what you're after. Good luck.
I will call them, thanks!

a few? you rich bastard(/joke) that's a great price for a SD3G.....mmmmm, decisions decisions, I'm a cheap ass trying to save a hundred bucks..

I'm cheap too lol. But when I started using Geissele trigger I personally just can't go back to a regular Mil-Spec trigger. I really appreciate the 2 stages. I have 3
Geissele triggers, Tricon (SSA with a hybrid bow surface), SD-E and SD3G.
They are all great triggers and all worth the money even for a cheap dude like me, you just need to choose the right one for your style of shooting.

Anybody have an opinion as to which Geissele most resembles the KAC two-stage? I love that trigger but have never tried a Geissele and am afraid of getting the wrong one

Arms East is the CDN Distributor for GA. Current (2014) Geissele Automatics CDN MSRP is US MSRP + 15%. As the CDN Dollar is now US + 20%, CDN prices are actually lower than US MSRP. 2015 pricing will be going into effect VERY shortly at US MSRP + 20%. Buy now for lowest price of the year.

Always wanted to try the geissele triggers, but I feel I've spoiled my trigger finger with the AR Gold trigger.

I just don't see how a trigger can feel any better than the Geissele S3G, but there is a small chance that AR Gold is right up there. I don't think a Geissele product will "unspoil" you :)

Guys, disregard this notice until I twist my friends' arms into buying some first ;)

You're probably right. Honestly I've never tried a Geissele trigger so I can't really compare. My next AR is going be a shorty, was thinking of putting a Geissele trigger in it.

Only reason I decided on the AR Gold trigger was to be different, and I liked the self contained design. That being said the trigger is just amazing. By far the best trigger I have ever felt.
