Gen 2 Spectre 10/22 Chassis

Do folks find the magazines drop free with this chassis? Will the tri-mags work? I'm thinking to use the chassis for a race-gun style build. I bought the original 3-D printed mag adapter and a clear 597 mag but had nothing but jams so I'm hesitant to try another and would prefer to stick with factory mags and tri-mags.

Some mags will drop free, some wont. Depends when they were made. For some reason there's a huge variance in magazine width, if we sized the chassis so they all drop free most wobble like crazy and it's super annoying and can cause feed issues. If you want them all to drop free you'll have to sand down the sticky ones.

Email or PM us if you'd like a discount for an aluminum adapter which fixes the feed issues you had with the polymer one.

You can reload really fast with our adapter:

I wish you had a quick tool less barrel removal latch where you don't have to remove the receiver something like on the promags Archangel® Quick Break-Down Stock for Standard Ruger® 10/22.

I'm trying to figure out if your stock and an AR15 A2 rifle length buffer tube buttstock would meet the minimum length requirements. I would most likely be using a Dlask 8-inch barrel with a flash hider or something.

You need a minimum 10.25" barrel length to be NR when using a Magpul MOE stock + carbine buffer tube. That 10.25" can be barrel length + compensator length.
