Gen 3 and Gen 3.5 Glocks...

Ok so I just traded for a g17 which isnt here yet but Im curious as to what changes were made in the gen 3.5's I keep seeing...Also when did gen 3.5 start?

The smoother/rougher looking/darker/not so easily marked up slide is one of them.

the difference is the 3 pin vs 2 pin frame, different locking block, and loaded chamber extractor. Th slide finish is different also, the older is better.

3 vs 2? My 6yr old G22 (Gen 3) I had and my newer G17 (also Gen 3) I just sold had 3 pins in the exact same locations.

The .40 Glock always had the 3 pins frame. The 9mm didn't get the 3 pins frame till Gen 3.5.
