Gen 3 G17 DIY Trigger Job options

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering about people's opinions on DIY G17 trigger jobs. I've heard about the NY trigger, and the Lone Wolf 3.5 trigger connector, but what's the easiest and cheapest way to do a trigger job on a Gen3 G17?

Also, does anyone have any experience with the Lone Wolf Ultimate Trigger Stop 9? What exactly does this do?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for cheap and easy G17 DIY trigger jobs?

Lots of videos on Youtube on how to do this. Polishing the contact areas is the key here.

Polishing makes a world of difference.

I just hooked up the polished wheel to my dremel and went to work with some compound. Contact parts are shiny enough now to almost see your reflection.

Has anyone used the 3.5 drop-in, or done the NY trigger? Are either of these worth their salt, or does anyone else have a recommendation for a drop-in type solution.

Has anyone used the 3.5 drop-in, or done the NY trigger?

Yes. I've tried NY1 with and without the 3.5lb disconnector, it doesn't feel right. I prefer the stock trigger. The 3.5lb disconnector with the stock trigger spring which ends up feeling 'mushy'. The NY1 on its own is too heavy in my opinion.

The parts are very cheap, I bought mine from Sporteque. I say give it a try, it takes all of 5 minutes to put in and/or take them out.

I would love to try the Fulcrum trigger set, but I decided to just go with a different gun all together rather than spend larger amounts of money trying to change the Glock.
