Gen1 Glock

Never really seen any gen1 flicks. Anyone know where I can track 1 down ?

A gen 1 would fetch a good price but I'd be surprised if any many existed north of the border.
Gen 2's are close, but some guys ask laughable prices for them thinking they're "collectible" and there fore "valuable". Gen 4's are around the 550-600 dollar value second hand and gen 3's around the 450-500 mark.
With today's market, a gen 2 (aka old ass Glock) shouldn't be more than 400-450 at most. Go down south and you can find gen 2's for like, 250 USD.

Asking 700 bucks for a used gen 2 or gen 3, hell even a gen 4 is a joke with new Glock prices where they are currently.

Friend of mine picked up a Gen 1 a couple of months ago. Think he paid $425 or so. Interesting to note that the barrels are thinner than the Gen 2 guns, so Gen 2 barrels will not fit in the Gen 1 slide.

Don't get me wrong, I do love the gen 2's also. I just find it absurd that some folks want higher than retail prices for them.

I had a Gen 1 with original box and sold it for $750 ballpark I think a few years back. It had a wonky rear sight, adjustable I think. It wasn't anything special.
I would spend money elsewhere but we all get hung up on what we get hung up on.

There are a lot of Glocks in Canada. There were not that expensive at the time and were well received. Glock wanted his guns sold in Canada and made good deals with importers like Allen Lever. AL had all models and stocked them. He also got various limited editions that they made.
EUropean Arms was another importer who had all of them.

IMHO, Guns are just tools. Nothing more.

Fixed it for you.

Some may be nicer or less common than others, but none were originally designed to sit in a safe or display case. Shoot em if you got em!
