Gen2 DA 50BMG stiff bolt-opinions needed

I just sent my upper to ATRS to polish my chamber. $150 and a test firing by Rick later, good as new!

I was going to this route last yr but Canada ammo stated "any 3rd party work will void warranty" during our email conversation. I was talking to insitearm for this work.

There are limits to polishing. Alberta Tactical polished mine when they installed their lower. Still wouldn't extract a shell properly.

oooooo, how long was the turnaround time? also, congrats!!

Thanks. Don't care about the warranty, never returned a gun. Also got the barrel chopped to 20" and cerakoted black. Turnaround time was about one month.
Rick test fired it, says it was good. I trust his word.

Canada Ammo sent a return label which covered the cost of shipping my DA 50 back to their new store location. Waiting for the barrel to be replaced and head spaced. Has anyone received their repaired rifle?

I would like to know who receive their “ fixed, upgraded “ barrel from CA . Please show us some pics if you have a chance.

I prefer to hear the good news from the end users now since it took way too long from importer/dealer.

I agree, way too long. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of the barrel supplier.

Please direct all inquiries to CS@CanadaAmmo.com

Considering that I bought my DA-50 complete firearm, which passed through the hands of CanAm and ATRS, somehow chamber condition was not inspected and was passed on to me. It is now my problem?

My firearm was shipped April 6 2017, I filed a complaint April 24 2017. I still have a $2500 paperwieght taking up space in my safe (total of ~50 rounds fired since purchase).

Yes, this is taking FAR too long!

I sent another email to the above mentioned address on April 5 2019 (one of many over the YEARS) but this time I have yet to receive a response......

I have been very patient, have not been upset or rude, and have not spammed CanAm with emails. But now I am worried that I have been abandoned.

Coming up on 2 years since I sent my rifle back to Canam for repairs. Still nothing.
I use to get good service here but until this matter is settled I have been directing all my purchases to other companies.

I have gotten mine back, it cycle way smother but the 26 inch barrel has been replaced with a 32, which I wasn’t expecting and now I have to spend more money to get a new case and the finish on the new barrel is not as noc as I would have hoped, it had rust on it when I got it back from Canada ammo

when did you get it back? was it just the barrel replaced and the original receiver?

Yeah just a barrel swap, I sent it out in March and got it back it June ish, I was told that there was 2 styles and that I was one of the lucky ones that had the right style for the batch of barrels they got
