Ok for all of us reloading our own. What bullet are you using and is anyone use a Hornady 30 cal 168 gr A-max think about giving them a trying would like to here from others if yea have tryed them.

If you want long range accuracy why not go with the new 178 gn Amax, it has a BC of .495 as opposed .475 for the 168 gn Amax? The 168 gn Amax stays supersonic to around 800 yds the 178 will stay supersonic well past 800 yds and will be less susceptible to wind drift.

I'm shooting 155 amax (BC 0.515) out of my m700 remi *2 cheap to feed my m14 with those* but they shoot well out to 600. Having said that I have no experience reloading any ammo with heavier weight of bullets then surplus 167gr which is for my 14. From what I understand of reloading. If you have half decent bullets and a good consistant powder and cases you will already be miles a head of surplus or even normal factory ammo.
