just a general question to those of you in the know, as my knowledge of sxs guns is poor ,especially European guns. is a Laurona from Spain considered a low quality shotgun?

Spanish best is like saying jumbo shrimp.

Likely a serviceable gun though.

Actually there are some incredible well made Spanish guns. But at the same time, there has been a lot of crap. Same as Belgium from an earlier time. Best not to speak in generalities.

Laurona would typically be a lower end Spanish gun but as Jimmy808 suggests, likely perfectly fine depending on current condition.
