All kinds of folding saws' out there at all kinds of different prices.
There are two that i'm looking at as they appear to be reasonable quality for an inexpensive price.

Which one would you consider to have the better steel ?

Make sure that the blades are replaceable.... most of these saws use plated steel and they wear out. I like the Gerber with the dual blades, one for wood, one for bone!
As far as preference look at the warranty and the price... one is as good as the other.

I've used both and then tried a Kershaw, Liked the Kershaw better and its cheaper.

By the time I get through the spine of a moose the blade is all but gone anyway. May as well save some money somewhere eh?

I have one of the Browning hand saws and its great. I also have the Outdoor Edge Kodi pak which has a nice saw with it, but you better run a file or something over the back side of the blade cause its sharp too.....real sharp. Ask my finger how sharp.......

My hunting partner uses the Gerber Gator, breaks down nicely and is interchangable from wood blade to a bone saw, a little bulky but works great. I have the Browning folding blade saw and find it a little small but nice in a pack.
