Nice looking Maget MG42. Now you need to find an uncracked left pistol grip panel. Most of the MG34/42's I see with black painted wood butts are Yugo - I assume yours is too?
My first MG34 butt was a painted wood one like that, base wood likely beech or elm. It was cracked though and the replaement was a really nice bakelite butt. LOVIN' IT. Bakelite just looks soooooo coool on a Nazi MG.

Uhh...well, its a German 42 and the butt is serialised to the reciever...
so it was either used by the Yugies or the the Germans also painted the butts
and ya...I will be replacing both grip panels
I cant have a high speed connection AND a private range...guess what I chose?
MSC just seems slow on the home page...navigating between forums seems to go OK
