German HK45 Pistol PREORDER!

I told my buddy who is not a member here about the extra HK45's in black that were available for $999. He call Wanstall earlier this week and ordered their last full size which came in today. I had to go down to the range at lunch time today and check it out, put a few mags through it. Very nice pistol. It's much thinner than the USP, and there are not as many sharp edges to get hung up on clothing making it more comfortable to carry. It has a great trigger as well. Now I am wishing I didn't go fire his...

Another vendor. I much prefer it the way it is, the contrast looks awesome. Mine has Night Sights, that was a surprise. When I do a search for ODG HK45, the pics look like mine. I didn't realize there were coloured mags, personally I wouldn't want them.

Was trying to help by showing you guys what you were getting, but maybe you'll be getting something different - you guys would know better than me. Mine looks like the pictures the retailers posted, without the threaded barrel. Your experience may differ, I guess. I'm happy with mine, the thing is fine as hell.

What was the point of preordering and having hundreds of dollars tied up when I could have just bought one off the shelf from any of the many dealers in Canada that have guns. The delays before i could deal with, now not so much. I geuss i learned my lesson not to buy in to the hype of "limited special offers" and the like.
