So a little birdie (aka, another dealer) told me today that these won't be arriving till some time in the spring. Any chance we could get a reasonably accurate ETA?
 
I think it's possible that we don't see theses pistols until spring. Theses kind of soecial orders are often very long..... Anyway even if it's spring 2014, I'm not in a hurry to get it. I want this pistol and I can wait a few more months ;)
 
As a followup from the earlier discussion about these pistols: Just got off the phone with our HK rep who is our direct line on these pistols. They have informed us that the shipment is being moved to late Feb/Mar from the original target of Dec/Jan.

Not terribly surprised. Par for the course when ordering so far in advance. Will mags be shipped at the same time? I don't mind the side effect of waiting: way less impulse buys white you wait!
 
To all of you that laid a hating on me when I anticipated that this was going to happen......... I was right. Oh well, now we all wait. I can prepare for the new arrivals by cranking out a few thousand on the Dillon. The wait will make the new guns all that much better. With the firearms market the way that it is these days, expecting to wait at least 6-8 months is the usual in my experience. And now to decide what to order for the next long wait, an HKP7 or a new wheel gun. Probably both :)
