German Luger P08

By Chance, are you looking for a Chrome Plated SS Honour Guard K98 complete with full ceremonial lightning bolts and skulls in 24K Gold engraved from muzzle to buttplate - all metal and wood engraved; and a Chrome Plated and Triple Spiked M35 SS Double Decal Helmet, lined with White Siberian Fox Fur as well?

...surely you're not parting with the Crown Jewels are you?

Last time I looked, Dlask would rebarrel a P08 with a new barrel that is long enough to be restricted, but really does not look different.

A much better way to go then seeing them smelted.

The majority of German P8 are dirty bird stamped. I don't know anyone who is re barreling P8s any more because good examples are getting harder to find but restricted variants do come on the market. Take a look at the used firearms section of Shooters Choice... They have a German commissioned, Turkish made P8 that is restricted. Historically the Turkish did make firearms for the Germans before and during WWII. The one SC has is very cool... 1 of 1000 and the writing is in Arabic. If only I had money to spare. I think they are asking for $4000. Welcome to the hobby... you've picked an expensive one.

Small correction it's .30 Luger not .30 Mauser

Thank you for the correction!!! I was thinking of the 30 Mauser used in the C96 pistol which is similar but should not be confused with the 7.62x25 round used in the TT series of pisotls.

Dlask sells 'restricted barrels' and they will sometimes do the work converting a pistol to 'restricted' status.

Regards

Yes, they are quite different.

.30 Luger is 7.65x21, also known as 7.65 parabellum, and in Swiss service as Pistolpatrone 03. It runs a 93gr bullet at 1200 fps. It's my favourite target shooting cartridge.

.30 Mauser is 7.63x25. It uses an 86gr bullet at 1450 fps.
