I see one on EE for $3,000.

I can recall them being sold in the 50's for $35.

For a long time they were worth less than a commercial gun because of the lower quality finish. What is one really worth today?

I have seen them go for $700 - $1000 in the last little while. Bought one 2 years ago for $700 and just saw one listed for $1000 recently.

I'd guess 700-900 depending on condition. They are a lot less rare than the pre WWII BHP's. (something like 335,000 produced during the occupation vs about 69,000 pre war if I remember correctly.)
