german sniper video...

Very reposted. It was reposted the last time it was reposted.
Having said that, there's always at least a handful of guys that haven't seen this stuff.

It's a shame that more stuff like this didn't survive the war, and post war cleanup.

"Suddenly, a BOLSHEVIK appears!!!" LOL!

I have the AVI file on my HDD, better quality and full-screen playable. If anyone is interested, I can up it to Rapidshare (where I originally got it many months ago) or similar "share" sites in 100 meg increments (it's 700 meg or so, very good quality).

I could burn you a DVD...but you could be able to do that yourself as well.
I would wager a guess you'd not be able to buy such an item easily.

OK, how do I copy it of youtube?

And be able to play it? Windows media, quicktime or realplayer do not seem to work.

Sorry guys. I didn't download the youtube stream. You'd need a screen recorder for that. Not a good idea, because it makes the videos really, really large.

But you can do it. Google "screen recorder". I find Bulent's Screen Recorder is easy to use.

The easiest way would be to find the .avi online, then just burn it onto a CD-R and run it in any Div-X compatible DVD player.

My first time as well , was really neat

ianwd, my grandfather taught me to shoot using groundhogs (yup originally from ON) and I'd take a shot using a 220 swift, make the kill, heads drop, he'd do a sharp whistle, heads would pop all back up, another shot taken. We could kill a 100 or more a day on these farmers fields.

The film can be had from International Historic Films. I have purchased all their German training films ( their Manner Gegen Panzer is a classic and was actually used as a US military training film back in the early fifties- I saw it as a cadet ) These wre part of a training series called the front Show which combined real and re-enacted footage for various training purposes. avergae cost of these videos is about $26.00 USD. If I can find a catalog I will post their address. Joe

Thank you for the URL. This looks like a great sight for military films. I picked up ten hours of high quality WWII newsreel shorts for about $20.00 at Costco a couple of years back. Interesting stuff.
