My neighbor has German Wirehair. He says it's the best gun dog he's ever had and he's in his late 60's. I have hunted over him and it is a lot of fun. It causes a lot of talk between us because I am partial to flushing dogs but I won't pass up an opportunity to hunt a pointer either.
