Get Onto Your MP and Minister Blaney NOW!

The RCMP need to be restricted from making ANY changes to the Criminal Law or and Firearms Regulations...They are #######s imo and haven't earned the trust to make these changes...Enforce the law yes but keep your grubby hands off of legislation.

I keep reading posts about how the CPC is the only hope for us. Am I alone in my feelings that Harper has done juuuust above the absolute minimum as far as cleaning up this mess of gun laws we have up here? 9 years in office is plenty of time to fix it beyond just whiting out the long gun registry. A proper, pragmatic new firearms act could be drafted in an afternoon, folks. And we all know if Obama were to speak out against silly gun laws, Harper would wipe off his chin and say "Hey ya, us too us too!" I think it's time for some new faces out east.

So, are you suggesting that the NDP under Mulcair is the party to come to our rescue...??
Because I presume you aren't suggesting Justin is our guy, so...

No thanks.

Definitely, cause it's been the ONLY step! They enjoyed a lot of votes from firearms enthusiasts who were hoping they'd be able to someday hunt with their ARs, and all they've done is scrap the LGR. Not enough.

you could always vote for another party if you want the registry back.
i'll stick with the only party that has ever done anything for us.

Suggestion :
Taking these concerns to Canada's National and Local News and Media to tackle the issues would be in the public interest.
All Canadians have the right to be truly informed when their rights and freedom are stripped away !!!

Sadly, I believe that a large number of Canadians would be quite happy to hear news coverage of law abiding firearms owners having more restrictions placed on them.
Hysteria and misinformation rule.

The RCMP can kiss my ass....!!!!

Free speech and all but have some respect for the front line officers serving us they aren't all bad and I worked with plenty of good men and women that put their ass on the line, above and beyond, to help a stranger.

Along with Steven Blaney, Stephen Harper, and my local MP, I included The Honourable Candice Bergen in my e-mails. You may recall her role and speaking up in favour of ending the Long Gun Registry Act.

forgive me if you did this already but could you post those emails ?

There is one more thing we, as a group, can do: get out and buy an AR-style semi auto rifle or carbine.
Get yourself some LAR-15 mags while you're at it.

2 million Canadians, almost 6% of the population, is a significant voting block.
It's easier to grab from few than from many.

Everyone looking for a template, stop.
Send a letter in your own words.
If politician gets a bunch of form letters, he won't take them seriously.
Send in your own letter, and if you sound like a moron, he'll know a real person wrote it.
They don't care if you sound like a moron, they only care if you vote.

I really wish I could tell all, but a public forum at a time like this is not the right place. There will be lots of groups claim the credit for what is happening behind the scenes, but only a few will ever know the true story, so what, I don't care, I know what I have done. The final result is all that matters to me. The next year could be the turning point for Canadian gun owners but we must all stay vigilant and active. Lots of people take the view that they are only one voice, one vote, what does it matter? Well the greatest deserts are made from tiny grains of sand. We will all finish up with the gun control system that we, "collectively" deserve. Think about it!

I agree... well said!
