Get Your AR15 While You Can: New AWB In the New Year

If it's get difficulte for the Americans to buy ARs in the States, the sales will go down and we might benifit from that? Less wait time for our ARs don't you think?
 
Just an FYI,

AR!5.COM alone has 325,109 registered members.. that doesn't count the AR owners in the states that could care less for the internet.

That's a lot of votes!

The Canadian market is too small to justify AR production at current levels in the US. If the US AR market dries up, we might see a slight increase in supply temporarily as distributors funnel their stocks into markets where they are permitted, but the manufacturers would cease to produce them in quantity if they can't sell them to the mass market.

Eventually that will translate to higher costs and lower availability in Canada.

Want to change that? Buy an AR. Tell your friends to buy ARs. Get your daughter one for Christmas. Get as many people shooting as possible.

Feinstein said she has been working for a year on the new bill she will introduce on the first day of the next Congress. She says it will ban the sale of more than 100 specified assault weapons, including the Bushmaster assault rifle used in Friday’s massacre, as well as ammo clips and drums containing more than 10 bullets. Similar to the 1994 law, she says the new proposal will exempt more than 900 specified firearms. Unlike the 1994 bill, though, the new version won’t be limited to 10 years.

“We have taken our old bill, and gone over it,” Feinstein said.

Yea really.....if the shooting did not happen, obama would not be talking about getting a committee together to draft up ideas about assault rifle ban and :bigHug::bigHug::bigHug::bigHug:.
Obama is doing the ban right now to give in to the anti's. There is no doubt Obama will ban assault rifles. But without the shooting last week, he would have hard time convincing people to ban assault rifles.

And last time I checked, Feinstein is not Obama?f:P:

Are you serious? I consider myself very non-tin foil hat-ish but it is extremely apparent this was obamas plan. He was just waiting for the right "opportunity".

Isn't that a truly sad irony here? After all the horse sh!t shakes out, the only AR suppliers left in Kanada will likely be Norinco and NEA. The guys at NEA must be laughing their asses off now. Why? Because they know they have a captive market here now - or will have shortly. Look for dramatic price increases on NEA product to follow in 2013.

If the American people stand for this I predict they will be fast tracked to Britain interms of gun control or at the very least it will be like California....all over the US including texas.....

If even quarter of a percent of American gun owners react violently to gun confiscation...you're looking at 200,000 angry people with guns. This won't end quickly or quietly.

Yes, he was waiting for the right time to do it, but without the shooting, he would probably had to do it at a later time..
