Get Your Milsurps Out To The Range

What was the course of fire?

Next match at EOSC is August 10th.
Zeroing for, well, zero at 100yds. First match is prone 10-shots at a military "Hun's Head" target and a 4" 5-ring, the rest of the ink is 3 points. No sighters, because the rifles were just zero'd. Move to 200 yds for 2 sighters 7 on score on the Figure 13 military target scored 5-4-3-2. The non-shooting relay is in the butts. While at 200, fire a ten-shot sitting or kneeling snap on the Figure 11. The targets are below the mantlet and on command from the Butts Officer's go up for a three-second exposure. Rotate relays, the other relay shoots the same course of fire. Move to 300 for another 2 and 7 on the Figure 12 B. The rings are different size and scored 5-4. The last match at 300 is another ten-shot prone snap on the Figure 11 scored 5-4. Score is 34 shots on score, 170 HPS in the aggregate. Only one HPS ever on a single match - and that was me on the 100-yd deliberate.

Two fun matches take some set up but are a challenge. Falling plates starting at 200, knocking one down means you move to 300, then 400 and 500 if there are any two shooters left. There is a 200 Mad Minute prone unsupported on the Figure 13.
