Agenda:
What You Need to Bring:

Your rifle! All optics are encouraged, but please have your rifle zeroed before you hit the range! We suggest a 100m zero.
Minimum 4 Magazines. We suggest bringing at least one pistol or beowulf caliber magazine for extended serials.
A method to carry those magazines. Belt, chest rig, pants pocket, whatever you want to use!
A sling. We won't be doing pistol transitions, this is a rifle specific course, but there are still scenarios that require your firearm to be slung.
400 rounds of ammunition. You wouldn't be out of line bringing more!
Eye and ear protection. Of course.
Water! Your body needs it! See the note at the end about PT.
A personal first aid kit if you are first aid certified. Always better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Make sure to clean your Tavor! I suggest hummus as lube!!

Just a note about your rifle Mike, make sure the Elcan is far enough forward to be used in prone, I can see yours is about an inch or more further back than mine, which is fine if you never do prone, but you will be in the course...

yah it has an acog on it now. But thanks, Ill move the acog forward an inch.

The acog can be nasty in prone with that short eye relief. I have a scar on my brow from shooting on a down slope at a target at a higher elevation than my position with my XCR-M while confirming zero last hunting season in the bush. I don't have a tavor but will pass this on to my brother who would definitely be interested in one of these courses.

its a 3.5x35 not a 4x32, not the same eye relief at all.

If I didn't have my wedding coming up I'd forsure take a week off work and drive out to the Calgary one.

Everyone's been telling me marriage would affect my shooting hobby. I guess they're right
