Hey everybody i apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong forum but im having some troubles Finding the Rails for a HK USC. Does such a thing as a Universal rail system exist or one that u can drill and tap to make it work for your gun?now i know i can just order them off HKparts.net and bring them to canada via irunguns or another import service but i was hoping just to pick up a quick set. Is it that difficult to just find a set that u can just drill? or perhaps someone out here knows of a gun smith that makes them? Please guys i would appreciate the help! thanks again!

Dlask makes a full set, but they're out of stock right now... Usually I think they only do them in small runs.

Might want to shoot them an Email or call and see if they have any or will do a set for you?

Or you can try getting a factory set of rails through North Sylva from a supporting dealer.

OR as a last resort, HERA Arms makes a full set of USC45 picatinny rails, they're quite nice but a little more expensive... HERA dealers keep shifting so I don't know who carries HERA stuff right now, but that is another option to look into.

Thanks for the reply. I called dlask and they are no longer making them. As for her as arms I've heard people hate dealing with them and I am having trouble finding a dealer. As for north sylva I have to research that a bit more maybe with some hope that will lead somewhere.

Yeah, I used to work for a gunshop that imported HERA Arms... not fun to deal with, but their stuff was very well made (for the most part... except when they forgot to drill the gas ports in their AR barrels then blame you for not specifying to drill them......)

Saskatoon Gunworks (a sponsor here) looks like they may have some HERA Arms stuff in, might shoot them an Email and see if they are planning on another order anytime.

North Sylva is a big distributor here, they are currently the HK Importer and carry (or can usually get) anything from HK, although you may wait a little while. Any gun shop can order from them, and in this case Wolverine Supplies should be able to get something from them. Wolverine ordered me a bunch of the barrel retaining roll pins, took over 2 years to get them, but they did indeed get them! Something like rail sets might be a little more reasonable to get a hold of.

I guess the bad part is that the USC45 is made in such limited numbers (if not outright discontinued, although HK changes their minds every year about this) that accessories are not very easy to get anymore for them.

In any case, good luck with your search, hopefully you have some places to look into!
