Getting an old Winchester model 94

Can anyone tell me the aproximate age? Wont have pics till next week but the serial # is 2187239and it is chambered in 30-30.

Never liked levers, but had the chance to try one out several weeks back. Fell in love with it and had to have one. Soo looking forward to taking the old girl out.

Let your collection grow to 32 Special, 356 and 375, maybe even the 307, oh wow, I'm so happy for you! There is no end to the enjoyment of Win 94's. An absolute joy to carry and shoot!

Thanks for the info. It is in really good shape to. The bore is pristine, no rust. Will be bringing it to its new home on Friday. I truely am lucky I get first pick out of what ever used guns the buyers pick up. Got this one for $219. Also got a single shot 20ga for $40.

It is a trueline. Out shoots my 535 and my 870. Had to make a new forend for it the original had a huge crack and fell off after the first 4 rounds.
