Getting any #1's in .22?

It's too early for April fools jokes!

I couldn't find it, but if it exists, saawwweeeeet! I did notice on Lipsey's they have listed a #1 in .460 S&W and another in 475Linebaugh/480 Ruger. Didn't know they were making them in those calibers.

Edit: Just noticed the other thread on these .22's. Very cool, very interested in the price, but like PatchRat it's almost certainly in the "too much for me" category as well.

Just looking at the specs and they seem odd and inaccurate.
The 44mag in the pic shows iron sights but in the list it shows "no"
And the specs for the two 22lr are identical but different model numbers.

I'm hopefull and would jump on a #1 in 22lr if it did exist this year.

And also

Both of those numbers are "recycled" if this isn't a misprint... 1310 was a 22-250, and 1314 was a 270 Winchester - both in a 26" barrelled 1B

not trying to be a #### here, but what's the appeal of the no. 1's? Maybe I just don't get it, but I've never fired one so I could be missing out on some really cool aspect that eludes the pictures.

Ruger's #1's have an almost "cult" following. It's a really nicely made, falling block (single shot) that is extremely strong. They can be had in almost any calibre you can think of - until you get into the double barrel "dangerous game" calibres. Ruger's been making them for many years and continues to build them. Any serious gun guy, owns at least one - and some own several.
Don't know if that helps - but it's one person's opinion.
