Getting firearms parts shipped to Canada

Your kidding right? I've been calling Western for years looking for basic parts for my guns and they have never had them or ever showed any interest in bringing them in. I still can't figure out how they are still in business, same with friends/co-workers. I guess if other people have luck great but no one I know has. Worst yet they are in the same city as me.

I have used them for over 40 years... seldom have they failed... not much of mine was with restricted though. I have been through their warehouse... it's hard to believe what they have in stock and how they keep track of it.

I have a hit or miss relationship with WGP the last part I had to find was a shotgun magazine tube that my order was canceled by Numrich. I think it was because some shotgun parts also come under department of commerce regulations as well as ITAR. I usually go for Numrich first the WGP second. They do know their parts if they have them.

I've been dealing with Western for a number of years now and always found them to be prickly to deal with.

If they send the wrong part, it's ALWAYS your fault, never theirs. It's a waste of time requesting a part by name or even using the manufacturers parts number, if you don't order it by their parts number they won't send it.

And I always found them rude and ignorant to deal with.

Frankly, I do most of my dealing with Numrich, and only use Western if I can't get it anywhere else.
