Getting Sig Saur Parts, Where to Look?

Hey,

I'm interested in getting some parts for some 1911's that I'm planning to do some custom building on. I'm wondering, as I'm not sure exactly, where I could get Sig Saur slides from? Does a source exist to buy these items, or, do I sort of have to buy a gun to get one?

I'm assuming you are talking about their proprietary, side-sculpted slide and not the 'traditional' model slide which is pretty much the same others.

I have never seen one sold separately which doesn't mean you can't find one, but it could be quite difficult I'm thinking. Just curious, is there a particular reason you want the Sig slide or just like its lines (which is totally valid)? STI slides, which you can buy from Freedom Ventures, come in many variations. One of them might work for you. Dlask also sells frames and slides and could probably do some machining depending on how you are set up or what you need.
