Hey folks I'm currently waiting on my restricted and due to postal strike may be waiting for awhile, I am thinking about getting into 3 gun however I'm on a budget and was thinking of purchasing a norinco m4 clone and the norinco 1911 to get started. Is it worth while with these particular fire arms or should I wait another year, save and buy better quality?

Norinco is the new oversea's clones. But if you want quality firearms, then wait till you can afford it.

On a budget?....

Stay away from .45 if money is an issue.

Pick up a used Glock, M&P, CZ or whatever in 9mm. At least you will be able to afford to shoot the thing...practice practice

I have heard good things about the Norc M4 and the only one I have actually seen run worked good so I would say go for it.

We've seen issues with the Norinco shotguns.. dealers have been excellent and always taken care of it though...

If you really plan on getting into 3gun be prepared to spend way more $ on travel and hotels than on guns & ammo...

FYI Norinco is a no go if you want to shoot it in the US.
Banned even for temp. import.

Anyone who's actively involved in any shooting sport will agree the cost of guns and ammo is not the major expense.
