While trying to remove the stripper clip guide on my Bell 305 I can ran into some problems.

Got the retaining pin out, came out really easy, but when i went to remove the actually guide, it seems rocks solid and won't budge. Even watching it on youtube, the guy just... pushed it out with his fingers. I was trying it with a rubber hammer

Should i be trying to hit it harder or is there something possible wrong with it?

The one on my NORC was locked in real tight and had to use a LOT of force to knock it loose with a claw hammer.

Mine was in there ridiculously tight as well. The pin came out easily but the brass drifting didn't go so well.

It wasn't budging with the brass punch and I was uncertain of just how much extra force to use (The ARMS 18 manual said too much force could damage the receiver, so I guess I was holding back). I decided to give it a little cut and had it out in no time.

ahah sorry to mislead you, and yes the video is nice.. but it shows the guy removing it with his fingers... mine required alot more force then two fingers can provide.

I to read the ARMS 18 mount thing and was worried that I'd crack it
