...... my new-to-me 10/22 a little better. Last night I put some glass on it and today I was back at the range......alone again!

It loved the Blazer ammo.....at 25 yards it was bugholing as long as I did my part. With the Winchester ammo the best group I managed was 1.5" and some opened up to 2.5......needless to say I'm not feeding it the Winchester stuff anymore. I also tried both out to 50 yards and the blazer ammo still shot around 1" and a few a little tighter.....the Winchester ammo wouldn't group less than 3.5". This was off the rest so basically it shoots better than I can offhand.
Now I know I can buy the Blazer ammo by the brick. w:h:

As I will get to shoot this rifle more I'm pretty sure I will be able to tighten up the groups at 50 yards.....than I will start taking it out to 100.

Took a short vid today....played around for the first time with the moviemaker ......I know the editing sucks but hey it was the first time I tried it.

OMG!
That looks like your shooting from inside your house. That's got to be the best set-up ever for an range.
;)
Nice first video to & also try bedding your 22 and free floating that barrel/
Thanx:wave:

Nice First Vid Oopswasthatyourdog!
They only get better every time!!
Gotta ask...... anybody every shot out one of those windows at your club by mistake?? :D

What winchesters are they? The 333 box? I'm using Blasers in mine last few boxes. Good accuracy and finally after 20+ years the Magazine finally needs to be cleaned and retightened main spring.
Great first Vid as well. I found the Federal boxes of I think 525 were flawless function and good accuracy as well.

The windows have never been shot........they have a round sticker in the center to catch your attention when closed. It is a nice range, but not heated in the winter. I'll post a video that shows it better soon.
The winchesters were 333's. Thank for the positive remarks on the vid :)

Keyholing must mean something different where you are. Where I shoot, it means that the bullets are going through the target sideways, and more or less at random around the point of aim.

Now, shooting bugholes, on the other hand...:)

When you have your Blazer blowout, get back to us on how the groups open up, eh?

Cheers
