Are gevarm and venturini .22 magazines interchangeable?

Nobody? The Venturini, from what I understand were clones of the Gevarm open bolt .22s.
Anybody have any experience here to share?

Are you thinking of the Voere open bolt .22? (2005??)

I have heard those 2 are interchangeable.

Gevarms are very mag sensitive...they have to be just right. Something that kind of fits isn't going to work. It's not just fitting, locking in and feeding...one lip is also the ejector. And it all has to be perfect.

I have a Gevarm, and I know someone who had a brazillian (or some such south american) rifle... totally different receiver make up... but I think the mags were interchangable.

I have Gevarm rifles and I had one Rubi Extra Venturini. The Rubi magazines are larger and will not fit into Gevarm magazine wells. Gevarm magazines will work in the Rubi rifle if you install a spacer in the mag well.

What's the quality of the Venturini rifles like? Just missed one the other day...worth owning?

Good info there...the mags are not the same.

Has anyone on here ever used a Gevarm mag in a Voere 2005?

I would not recommend buying a Venturini rifle.They are inferior in quality and design to the Gevarms and the magazines are probably even harder to find than Gevarm mags are.

I have a venturini, the quality is fine. It will stand with my Gevarms?

The Venturini does not have the adjustable trigger and reversible recoil spring guide that the Gevarms have. The Venturini that I bought had a rough bore and it was a new rifle.
