I somehow ended up in the "Gevarm with no mag" boat.

Are there any markings on a gevarm to positively identify it? I've got a gun show coming up and am going to be looking, but don't want to end up with a similar mag that doesn't fit. I assume the mags are all the same, be they 8 or 20 rds.

The 20 rounders don't fit in all of the models, which model do you have? FS

20-rounders fit the E1, E2 and A3 which fire on the open bolt. The A6 and A7 fire on closed bolt and mag well must be altered to accept 20-rd. I have an A7and it accepts only the 8-rd.

Some folks report their A6 or 7 WILL accrept the 20 but they don't know if the mag well was altered...

If you check previous Gevarm postings here for the past few months you'll find one thread where a Canadian company was offering new reproduction 8-rd mags for less than$50.

They may have run out because they're not advertising down here like they were a couple of months ago. They had talked about ordering more from the manufacturer as well as some 20-rounders.

Good luck.

gevarm mags

I offered them a couple of brand new factory 20rd magazines to reverse engineer and they declined. Due to world wide restrictions, 20rd magazines are only allowed in a few countries. So this makes them a financial loss to make and sell.

There is a fellow in Winnipeg that makes them.
