I have this Gevarm mag that is for the E1. Does it look original? I can get 10 rounds into it. I have been looking online and I found a fellow who said Gevarm did make a few 5 and 10 round mags back in the day aside from the usual 8 and 20 round mags. It does have typical wear for a mag from back then. I had bought an E1 a couple of years ago from a lady. The gun had belonged to her father. I bought it without the mag as she couldn't find it at the time. She just found it and sent it to me.

What is that saying? Looks like a used mag for sale by a French company. Can't get my translate to work.

It's just a bing (crappy web browser) search result for a "french 22 mag" that looks similar from what I can tell. I'm not sure about the mag but if it gives you trouble there some showing up new made by Triple K for far less than the originals were going for.

I don't have the gun anymore so will likely sell the mag. So was wondering just what the mag was.
Below is the blurb I found on the net.
the last gevarm 8 and 20 round magazines and guns(e2 export models) were made and imported into canada in 1990. The factory has since quit production in france. the e2 export model was the only one they made for export before closing down. they also made 5 and 10 round magazines.all of these magazines had to be fitted to the guns because of the different models that were produced.

Gevarm magazines fit the venturini open bolt 22 . Gevarm made their own locally.
A Gevarm is class 5 military in France. That is why they closed down.
All of the models were available for export at the time of closing.
But, most people wanted E1 and E1 export models. So that's why other importers and I brought
them in. The only magazine's they made available were 8 rd and 20 rd for 22lr rifles
