I took a gevarm apart last night to clean it. It was easier than I thought.
I unscrewed the main stock screw in front of the trigger and pulled the stock off. It was a little tight and hasn't been off in.... 20-30 years if it has ever been. Once the stock is off there is an allen key bolt that takes the trigger assembly off. It's all housed in the one piece trigger assembly that comes off.
Unscrew the end cap you can see when the gun is intact on the back of the action, and watch out for the compressed spring. Once that's out, the handle that sticks out the side of the bolt can be wiggled out when the bolt is in a certain spot. Just try it, it's not too hard if I managed to do it last night.
There is one little threaded piece that the trigger box screws into that may fall out if the action is open. It's flared on one side and it's not hard to figure out how it sits in it's little spot. You put it in with the action locked open, then close the action to keep it in place while you put the trigger back on.
I just wiped down and cleaned and oiled all the parts and put it back together and it worked great today.
I would go into more detail but I have steak and prawns on the bbq.
Later.
