Has anyone come across or heard of Gevarm 920 model shotguns - receivers appear to be closely patterned to Remington, workmanship appears to be reasonably high but there are no referrences in the Firearms Blue Book

I dont own the shotgun, but I do have the .22 semi auto and it is excellent. Been using it for the last 30 years trouble free. So hopefully the same craftmanship and reliability went into the shotgun. good luck . grandpa

Gevarm guns and Gevelot ammo used to be sold in hardare stores about 45 years ago. Made in France. Mechanisms seemed a bit unorthodox, but guns, especailly the 22 auto seemed of good quality.

Made in France, but many were assembled in Saskatoon. You can't swing a dead cat without knocking over a few Gevarms here.

I am a new member and I live in Washington State. My friends and I are looking for Gevarm, and Unique magazines. Is there any one who can help us locate some? There seems to be no source for any French arms over here. We are looking for Gevarm (Old model) takedown .22 mags, and Unique 52, D3, D6, VO 79 mags.
Thanks,
Mike

I used to own one of these and so did one of my buddies. They work excellant and never failed. We put thousands of rounds through them and they worked great. One thing is that the action stays open and when you pull the trigger it slams shut and puts a slit down the brass. Many times we put shorts in which shouldn't work but it would work like a machine gun. The shorts didn't have the energy to get the action back far enough to catch and hold it open. The clip would empty so fast that there was no way to count the shots.

The Gevarm pump shotguns are a copy of the 870 rem with alloy receiver they are good quality they also made a auto loader version not quite as popular as the pumps they were sold in Coop store retailed about $149.00 in late 60's into early 70's then the plant closed in s'toon.
