Shot lots of the Gevelot nickel-plated case 22 LR back in the day. Fed like a dream. The little semi was a pretty little gun.

They had a .22 that fired from an open bolt, I heard it could go full auto. They had an ammo factory in Saskatoon. There is still a powder magazine in a farmer’s field.
Any one know why they went out of business?

They actually just assembled ammo in Saskatoon . They imported the components and assembled them in Canada . Was either a import thing or advertising gig.
