Gew 98

The "brownish" color is patina or natural rusting of the metal over time. Like fine wine, this authentics a rifles age.

Stripping or refinishing this eliminates the rifles history and, as a consequence, its collector value.

I say leave it alone and enjoy her as is but she, along with the choice, is in your hands.

By the way, did you get one of those gew 98s from collectors source ?

no she is not from collector source i trade it for a svt-40 i had 4 :D
and how do i upload pictures ?? lol(sorry for my ignorance lol)and tanks for the advice i will leave it natural ! lol

BTW on the extractor there is a star marking (look like a tula star ) it is not a RC do you have a idea what it is ?
i also got a sawback bayonet on the way !
 
You can post pictures if you get an upgraded CGN account on a yearly basis or something along those lines.

I have used photobucket for so long now that is it just habitual.
