only got the one pic but the miss got her first AR and i updated mine. I baught her's from another nutter off the EE. its american spirit lower with mostly DD upper parts. mine is an NEA lower with a Hera arms slick upper and i changed out the whole front end. SJ barrel with 1:7 twist. carbine gas. YHM front sight gas block, Midwest Ind free float, pws comp. both shoot nicely and we had a good time the other day blasting a pumpkin lol.

Nice, just need to buy her a nice red dot now. Is that a Magpul BAD on your's or a different one. I prefer the phase 5 V2 that replaces the whole bolt catch paddle, I have 2 of them and they are great.
Does her's have a midlength gas system?


Sorry but your sig line about no password till there is a tracking number is BS. I don't send anything until the money is in my account. You could just cancel and take the item. Learn to trust a little. Read a persons trader rating. This isn't that other forum full of scam artists. With a trader rating of 8 you are the one people would be leery about dealing with.
Standard dealing is agree on price including shipping, pay for item, send item with tracking and insurance, receive item, leave positive feedback if happy.
If the item is over $100 exchange phone numbers and actually talk to the person prior to sending money if you are worried.
 
hers does have a midlength. I had a few ARs that she used but she really wanted one of her own lol.

CR5- not that i didnt trust people i just thought it was a good way to do buisness. it is a bit of a deterant but Im not trying to be a dink.

Well said and i too will not ship anything even a $2 item until the money is in my grubby little hands...too many crooks out in cyber land!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread but I wouldn't either.

Back on track.

Well done finding a way to keep her paws off you toys. I think if it was mine the only change I would make would be to put on a low profile gas block and a 12 inch free float tubular forend with only a top rail. That's just my flavor though. I like most of the barrel covered.
 
funny thing is that's how I had it before with a 11in barrel. I wanted to change it up and I actually prefer this set up actually. I've just liked the idea of a steel front sight like the A2 gas block but I wanted a flip up. this system worked out quite well.
 
glad to see you didnt slap on anything ridiculous that 95% of people do, they look pretty clean good job.
