GG&G BUIS question

I will soon be coming into posession of a GG&G A2 style BUIS for my M4gery build.

Has anyone on here used/seen one before? Overall impressions about GG&G stuff?

How does it compare to say, and ARMS #40?

Any insight would be great!

It's good for my low-speed purposes, and better than the arms #40 IMO.

I run the same BUIS, I like it. Well built and easy to deploy. Mine locks in the up position and is very solid. I have run the ARMS #40, and I would say they're comparable.

Is deployment spring assisted, like the Arms 40?

I'm trading my ARMS #38 swan sleeve straight up for the GG&G... couldn't find any buyers!

I too run the GG&G Mad BUIS with tritium sights. It lays really low and streamlined, flips up easy and quick and locks in the up position. Well constructed, quality sight. I would recommend it. One thing, I use it stand alone and don't know if it can be co-witnessed with optics. GG&G makes a good sight.

Well, I FINALLY got the sight from the guy. But it does seem like a quality piece.

Out of curiousity, does anyone know how GG&G packages their stuff from the factory?

Mine came in a sealed bag with a photocopied installation sheet, and it LOOKS like it's factory, but I'm not sure if maybe there are some really good airsoft replicas out there. Like I said, it looks and feels like the real deal, but just wanna make sure...

Mine was in a sealed plastic bag with a photocopied install sheet. It had GG&G marked with white on the top. Feels very solid, locks into place
