Can some one recommned a patter that works well for hayfield/willow brush areas during fall as the colours are in transition.

I use green brown and dark brown burlap tree suit. Its made on mesh. Take material from your surroundings and add to your suit. They break up your silhouette colour doesn't much matter. I prefer to stay in shadows just outside the sunlit area. Watch a dogs eyes when they cross the line of shadow/sun. It takes a second or two to readjust that's when you move. Always worked for me

Mine has strips of camo green & brown from an old hunting coat, burlap and yarn. Brown, black, yellow, tan, & some rust colour. Works very well-looks a bit strange.

Works well is probably more important than looks strange. I don't recall ever seeing a gillie suite fashion show. Lol

If there's any chance your friends will get drunk and wear it to stand on a highway, like the goof in Montana who thought it'd be fun to spark sasquatch sightings, I'd recommend a few strips of blaze orange. :D
