Is the upper removable? Like can you completely take it off the lower or is it permanently hinged?

They are fully removable.

handguard is too long

Welcome to Canada...The barrel is to long as well but that's what we have to work with.

Are you guys going to be bringing in just the NR barrel/Handguard for those of us with the restricted models?

Very slim chance of that, unfortunately demand dictates production and special runs require large numbers.

Id love to see a longer hand guard for the APC223, However It’s cool to see it being adopted on the GHM9.

according to wolverinesupplies.com the version with the 175mm barrel is 5.3lbs, this has 30cm of additional steel and aluminum on its nose.

I'd expect it to be no less than 6.5lbs
