I'm considering buying one. I like what I see so far, but what's your take.

If you hate it, I have to ask, why and how long did you use it for??

I like mine but I find it works better with my STI
The square front on the trigger guard seems work at holding better
My 1911s and Para s have a rounded front which sometimes roll the barrel forward
The gun is still held and wont fall
But I think I can adjust this out as it used to work on a Para I used to own

I have the CR-Speed and Ghost also. I like them both very much but currently I'm using the Ghost in Open. The lock is very secure and the gun really can't be pulled through once it's activated. As well, the locking lever can be set in either of two positions; one for general range carry and one for a quick, middle finger sweep-off on a holster test stage. Very handy!
Mine is the version of the Ghost with the muzzle peg, however. Just a personal preference for me, but I like to have the muzzle AND the trigger guard immobilized.

Where you pick that up? Homemade?

I have one - muzzle moves around and as a CR Speed user that just feels wrong. However I really like the locks on the Ghost - something the CR is lacking.

I got mine fro Josko at Double Tap sports. He might even have them in stock.
One of the guys around here just went ahead and made a plug assembly for his, and it seems to work pretty well. If you have access to tools, that might work for you.

the lock is so strong on my Ghost,..that when the plastic retainer wore out on the inside (because I abuse it and used the #### out of it),..I could not unlock it,. or wiggle it loose,...and had to resort to taking the whole rigging off,..and remove the outer plate to get it off. (BTW,..Josko had it rectified in time warp speed). I have forgot on numerous times to lock it on the range,..and it has never fallen out,..even when picking up brass; yet I can get some really nice draws out of it. These were good draws I had recorded in matches;

Don't forget to adjust the little white screws so they contact everything they should, it takes away the wobble problems.

Looking for used Ghost holser and mag poaches

Looking for used Ghost holser and mag poaches. Any body know of any for sale? :D

Josko mentioned that he should be seeing the first Ghost Holsters made for the GP6 in a few weeks. I'm thinking it may be on my wish list.

The CR can be adjusted to just about anything. I think it will even fit the Super-Soaker we bought for the grand kids....

In theory, so can my current Hogue, but I just don't trust it with the lock off. Magnets and good will only get you so far.

(And when did you get old enough for grandkids?)

Probably the overall nod to the Ghost but neither is "faster" and the Ghost may be a bit more lenient in allowing your pistol to fall if the lock isn't applied and it seems a bit easier to "miss" reholstering.

ghost can hold a supersoaker, and there is no muzzle platform to adjust. CR platform is long enough to accept a super soaker so I call that game set and match for the ghost.
