Ghost Loading 5+1+1 = 7 Semi!

Ghost loading??

How exactly such loading can be done?i want to ghost load my Verney Carron Tactical semi auto but i couldnt.guys,i need ur help here.

I accept that it works, but I don't understand why the first round in the magazine is not released when the action cycles, resulting in a double feed.

The magazine release is triggered by the "shell release". If there is a shell in the lifter already, it is pressing the carrier release lever and causing the front of the shell release lever to stop the next round from coming out of the mag tube. (similar to how it would - if you hit the shell release when there was a round in the chamber already and the bolt closed)

When you pull the trigger on the Benelli, it advances the next round in the follower, so by the time the hammer drops and the gun is firing, the next round is already on the follower ready to go.

So its designed to work by having the next round on the follower as soon as the trigger is pulled. Ghost loading just adds an extra shell to the lifter before you pull the trigger. With one already there, its like it was already released and the tube has 4 rounds in it (except that is has 5)

Its "okay" because the magazine tube can only hold 5 rounds. FWIW I found that ghost loading doubled the time it took to reload, so its really only a usable function when the gun is pre-loaded before you do something. Nice for a competition, lets say.

Enjoy. 720p HD if you go inside youtube.

also, unless I'm mistaken, newer M4Super90's have a different bolt to eliminate ghost loading, as Benelli saw ghost loading as a problem that needed fixing :jerkit: .

The older M4 Super 90's are able to ghost load, the new ones can be modified to as well.

It will work on inertia driven such as SBE1 and older M1 you can find more info here:

copied from the thread:
With the older style benellis (SBE1/M1) you can place a shell underneath the bolt and sitting on the carrier, w/ two in the mag and one in the chamber....hence the phrase "FLOATING 4th shell". You can do this with many other manufacturers of semi autos, but Benelli is most well known for it. When Benelli came out with their most recent autos (SBE2/M2/Cordoba etc.) they added the groove to the bottom of the bolt which doesn't allow you to Float a 4th shell. But you can modify your bolt to accomodate the 4th shell which is what this post is all about....How to modify your Benelli to Float a 4th shell. However, this modification does actually void the warranty on your gun, so becareful.

Mine is a "newer" (3 position stock) m4s90 and as per the video above, it works just fine with 7 rounds.
