Ghost Ring lowest elevation, POI still way too high.....

Hey CGN'ers;

Looking for some help. Have a Fabarm SAT8 Semi Shotgun. Has adjustable ghost ring sights. Was shooting very high. Wond the elevation to its lowest setting on the rear sight and still shooting way to high. Aiming 1-2ft below target for a hit.

These sights were factory installed on the Picatinny rail, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I am of the opinion the factory sights should be able to get on target no?

I'd prefer not to send a virtually new (20 rounds fired) shotgun to a gunsmith and get it doing myself.

If your first pic is of your gun and sight setting it looks maxed out in elevation, should be bottomed out at lowest setting. If you have it bottomed out and it still shoots high then your front sight is too low. I had this problem with some meprolight night sights for my Benelli that I solved by cutting up both the OE and mepro front sight and attaching them together to raise it up. It doesn't look like that's an option for you however. Is there any warranty available to you?

Both pics are google images. My rear sight is cranked all the way down. Not sure on Warranty, ill have to find out who takes care of warranty claims... I dont know what the problem could be, as i said these were factory installed sights, shotgun has exactly 20 slugs down range.

Tried to find out if LPA makes a taller front that can be swapped in, but my google Fu was lacking....

Try Casey at Tacord, he sells most ghost rings. The Vang comp front sight may work.

The front sight on the Fabarm is adjustable for height as well, uses a small Allen key if I remember correctly. If your shooting high, raise the front sight to lower point of impact. Had to do this on my Martial Pro-forces when I had it.

I checked it out and sure enough it is adjustable. Couldn't tell it was a hex screw until I used a flashlight.... Put it up 5 or 6 clicks, just need some shells and range time.

What range do you guys sight in your shotguns? I plan to do so at 50 yards...
