Ghost ring sights for a Glock....?

Has anyone ever tried out a ghost ring set up type of sights for your glock pistola?

I was thinking of these ameriglo ghost ring sights as a good set up, but I was looking for opinions of those that may have tried it.

I've shot a G22 with ghost ring sights installed a few years ago...didn't like it at all!

found it difficult to hit anything... but mind you I'm don't have any long guns with ghost sights, so maybe I'm just not used to them, but it's not quite the same with such a short sight radius on a handgun.

The idea behind a ghost ring sight is that the rear sight almost isn't there. That works great on a shotgun or rifle where the sight is close to your eye and you are focusing on the front sight but is nigh impossible to use properly when mounted on a pistol (in spite of what the sight companies tell you). They are about as useless as an extended, ambidextrous slide release on a 1911.
Kind of like the Liberal party, you know they're there but you gotta ask "why???"
