Girlfriend with the M40A1

So took the Girlfriend out shooting again. This was her SECOND TIME EVER shooting a gun. Literally, I taught her how to hold a rifle a week ago! So we started off by setting the gong up at 500 yards... I got the rifle dialed in hitting the gong and asked her if she wanted to try my rifle. It is of course WAY too long for her but she got down on it. Three shots, three hits on the gong! All hits were within 3 inches! Very happy boyfriend!

Picture was taken after her three hits. I figure I needed a picture to commemorate her achievement! She's trying to see where her hits were on the gong with the scope.

Excellent. We should get more of the ladies involved. We have several that shoot competitive with our club. And they all do very well. They take it seriously, and the scores prove it. Thanks for sharing.

This is great! My wife had never held a firearm. I introduced to the indoor range and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Now wants her rpal. I want to take her out to crownland and show her the good stuff. Thumbs up for this post!

That's awesome, took the girlfriend out shooting for her first time and she was picking thumb tacs at 100 with .22lr

I actually bought her a Ruger Precision Rifle in 243 that she shot her first time out. This time she wanted to try my rifle
