Hello,

After around 4,500 rounds down my Girsan Regard MC I am having to failure to extract issues.

I cleaned the extractor and behind it where the spring is hoping that was the problem.. Went to the range and still having the issues.. Sometimes it looks like the extractor barely grabs on and then sheers the brass casing lip.

I am going to replace the extractor as to the naked eye it almost looks a little bent. I'm assuming it is identical to the 92 series?

Can anyone speak to that specifically? I am probably going to just replace the extractor and might as well replace the extractor spring as well.

Thanks,

Likely the spring. You might as well try replacing the extractor. The gun is supposed to have been built on Beretta supplied CNC equipment so the part likely will fit. Nothing ventured nothing gained. You have a boat achor until you make the change.

Take Care

Yah.. Extractor wasn't too expensive. Decided to just order a whole spring kit and extractor from Brownells.

Hopefully it all fits and I can get it back up and running.
